PWW Silent Auction Donor Spotlight: The Outlaw Brewing Company
The Outlaw Brewing Company opened in Winchester, New Hampshire, in 2017. A longtime home brewer, owner Rick Horton operates the taproom and expansive outdoor beer garden and welcomes guests from near and far to sample his rotating selection of drafts.
“We are truly small and local,” he said. “We welcome our customers as part of our family, and we have a very grassroots attitude to what we do.”
The brewery produces a variety of styles – from its flagship Cranky Yankee IPA and American Blonde Ale, to seasonal treats such as Experimental Sour Raspberry and Thank You Chocolate Stout. Outlaw distributes to more than 25 restaurants and six retailers across Southern New Hampshire. Check out their Facebook and Twitter accounts to learn more. Merchandise is available on their website.
“The most important ingredient for beer is water, and our water is one of the main reasons we have good beer,” Horton said. He noted that Outlaw operates on a hand-dug well. “Because water is necessary throughout the brewing process, we’re very conscious to conserve our water use,” he said.
The Outlaw Brewing Company has generously donated two growlers, with a fill of your choice, plus an Outlaw t-shirt, to PWW’s World Water Day online auction. Must pick up at brewery. Learn more here.
