We are excited to have you join us in Honduras for a transformative week that will dramatically improve the health and future of the children and families you work with, while creating a lasting and profound impact on your own life.
In preparation for your trip, please complete and return the required trip forms and review the following documents.

Two options for completing the trip documents:
1. Download and complete electronically, then email to info@purewaterfortheworld.org. You may send your deposit by check in the mail to P.O. Box 55 | Rutland, Vermont 05702.
2. Print, complete, and mail with deposit to P.O. Box 55 | Rutland, Vermont 05702.
Trip Payment and Cancellation Policy
Trip Payment Schedule. A $500 deposit is required to secure your spot. Deposit should be submitted with trip application. Final payment is due 45 days prior to the departure date.
Refund policy. Should you need to cancel your trip, following outlines the refund policy:
- > 60 days prior to trip departure date receive a full refund, less $250 administrative fee.
- 45-60 days prior to departure date, forfeit $500 deposit.
- 15-44 days prior to departure date, receive refund of 25% of trip cost.
- < 15 days of departure date, receive no refund.
Cancellation fees will be designated as a donation to the trip project. For cancellations made more than 15 days prior to departure date, up to 100% of the trip fees may be transferred to another trip date. Please contact PWW to discuss.
Airline Tickets. Please work with trip leader before purchasing airline tickets to ensure times and dates are in alignment with other volunteers and the PWW staff. PWW recommends you consider trip insurance when booking your airline ticket.
PWW Trip Cancellation. Traveler safety, as well as the safety of the PWW team, is always our highest priority. In the event that PWW deems it necessary to cancel a trip, paid trip funds can be applied toward a future trip or refunded upon request.
PWW recommends you consider trip insurance when booking your airline ticket to support any unexpected changes to the scheduled trip. PWW is not able to help with the cancellation and reimbursement of airfares.

**STEP (Smart Traveler) Program Registration.
It is recommended that all travelers register your trip and passports with the US State Dept. This is a precautionary measure in case anyone loses their passport while in Honduras as well as to receive any travel alerts. Please be aware that various travel alerts have been issued for travel to Honduras over the years. PWW monitors these alerts closely, discussing among the Honduran team as well as with other NGOs traveling in Honduras. Rest assured, the safety of our volunteers is of highest priority.
